This adorable muppet can’t help but make you feel good. His soft colors and sweet face always bring a smile to my face. He was created in a cloud of fun and happiness because I was in great company! Also, because of the insanely good gingerbread cookies a friend made me fresh from the oven. I believe the magic of art is when the artist’s feelings are captured in the piece they are creating. I truly hope this is true for you, too!

Curious Pablo was born in December 2020 and created in pencil, ink, colored in Copic markers, and highlights were added using white ink. This fine-art print is 5x5 inches and on 100% cotton, true baryta (barium sulfate) fiber paper that offers the density of a traditional darkroom FB-type paper to hold detail in the deep blacks of the shadow regions, while producing natural white highlights that’s enhanced with a slight fiber glossy surface texture.

Why are stoats so awesome? Well, in New Zealand they would say stoats are a pest, but that is only because silly humans introduced them where they don’t belong. However, did you know that in the UK a stoats coat turns white in winter? In the southern UK as the season turns cold they molt into their winter coats while only the tip of their tail stays black. But in northern areas many will already be white, making them conspicuous in snow-free areas. - Learn more at discoverywildlife.com
