Fuchsia Wish

$30.00
Only 1 left in stock

Adorable Fuchsia was created at the end of a late summer walk where I made a wish after blowing on a dandelion clock, which I refer to as “wishies”. Yes, the wish is coming true :)

Fuchsia was born in pencil, ink, colored in Copic markers, and highlights were added using Golden acrylic paint. This fine-art print is 5x5 inches and on 100% cotton, true baryta (barium sulfate) fiber paper that offers the density of a traditional darkroom FB-type paper to hold detail in the deep blacks of the shadow regions, while producing natural white highlights that’s enhanced with a slight fiber glossy surface texture.

Why are mice awesome? “Mice are a keystone species in almost every ecosystem. In forests, fields, and deserts, mice represent food to predators of all sizes. They link plants and predators in every terrestrial ecosystem. Weasels, foxes, coyotes, hawks, owls, skunks, shrews, bobcats, and bears all eat mice. Name a predator, and it probably eats mice.” - wvnews.com
