This owl’s name is Aurora thanks to it’s colorful feathers. Aurora is one of my very first and created during a difficult day to heal my heart and to cheer me up. I can promise you that Aurora can bring color to your world and a smile to your face on even the gloomiest day.

Aurora was born in April 2020 and created in pencil, ink, and colored in Copic markers. This fine-art print is 5x5 inches and on 100% cotton, true baryta (barium sulfate) fiber paper that offers the density of a traditional darkroom FB-type paper to hold detail in the deep blacks of the shadow regions, while producing natural white highlights that’s enhanced with a slight fiber glossy surface texture.

Why are owls awesome? Because they are! But did you know… “Not all owls hoot! Barn Owls make hissing sounds, the Eastern Screech-Owl whinnies like a horse, and Saw-whet Owls sound like, well, an old whetstone sharpening a saw. Hence the name.” - audubon.org
